Website access and hosting
This website is hosted on a virtual server provided by Host Europe GmbH, c/o Spaces, Gertrudenstraße 30–36, 50667 Köln, Germany. Accessing a page involves processing technical connection data, particularly your IP address, the time of access and the requested page. Your browser may also transmit browser and operating system information and the referring page.
The purpose is to deliver the website, maintain its security and diagnose errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting the legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation. Technical service providers may access this information when providing the service. Logs are needed only for as long as required for operation, troubleshooting or investigation of specific security incidents. Actual logging and retention settings on the server determine the specific retention period.
Cookies, analytics and embedded content
The supplied page code does not set cookies, use local browser storage or include analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and the network graphic are displayed without external embeds. The language switch uses ordinary links between the German and English pages.
Email contact
If you contact me by email, your address, message and any additional information you provide will be processed to handle your enquiry. Depending on the purpose, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual matters, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR reflecting the interest in responding to enquiries.
Email is managed through Google Mail, so Google processes messages and connection data. Processing outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States, is possible. Google explains its transfer mechanisms in its data transfer frameworks and provides further details in its privacy policy. Merely visiting this website does not cause the page code to connect to Google.
Retention of enquiries depends on the time needed to handle them, possible follow-up questions, applicable statutory retention obligations and the protection of legal claims. You are not obliged to make contact by email.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Any consent given may be withdrawn for the future. Please use the contact details above to exercise these rights.
You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision. The page code does not perform automated decision-making or profiling.
